So, there are some really bad things about the entry. I know I am making fun of this house, but I promise I intend to "fix" it all before too long. The front door is this really bad putty color. It has a domed glass panel in the middle with etched glass and brass accents. My god how Phil and I hate this door. It will be painted red immediately upon arrival. While this won't fix it, it will make it tolerable for a few weeks.
You will notice the front door is open. This is as far as it goes. Since the dining room is directly beyond the door, there is also a door frame. So there is a stopper keping the door from opening any wider. This is really strange to me, but whatever.
Please also note the contractor grade light fixture...also going bye by.
