My Favorite Material

I hate curtains and think that I might have mentioned it on here once or twice. They are intimidating and mostly too showy for me.

I loved the tab top curtains years ago, but now do not appreciate how they show off the curtain rod. Typically, I go to the hardware store and buy copper pipe and get them to cut it to length. I take 2 big hooks and screw them into the door frame to hang the rod. This costs about $5, as opposed to $45 for a store bought one. But this doesn't allow very much room for 'not pretty' tab top curtains.

I found Roman Shades about 6 years ago and fell in love. All the benefits of curtains (which are to block the window, right?) but none of the foofiness that I hate.
